Seeing a stylus' condition with the naked eye is almost impossible, but it is essential to check on it regularly to make sure it isn't damaged or worn out, which will therefore damage your vinyl. 

Dust is also one of the most common problems with high fidelity reproduction when it comes to playing your vinyl.

With a built in LED light, it allows for an illuminated inspection to make sure there is no dust or contaminates on your stylus

Simply open the inspector by gripping the two triangles gently and pulling away from the main body

The LED will illuminate automatically, and turn off once slid back into the main body.
